June 30      Yesterday we began a 2-week series on loosing God's favor, not loosing your salvation!  Proverbs tells us there are 7 things that God finds detestable.  The writer of Proverbs actually states God hates these things. 1. Haughty eyes.  2. Lying tongue 3.  Hands that shed innocent blood 4. Hearts that devise wicked schemes 5.  Feet that are quick to rush to evil 6.  A false witness 7.  A man who stirs up trouble        If we are told through inspired scripture that God hates these things, shouldn't we see the red flags.  Certainly, but we don't always listen to our God or our heart.      This week read Proverbs 6:16-19 and make sure you stay in God's favor by staying away from the things he hates.  Obtaining favor with God is sweeter than honey.  He knows our hearts.  Even when we fail, he knows our hearts.  Be like David in scripture who failed often.
